“Cambodia My 2nd Home” is the major initiative launched by My Second Home CM2H (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. with MOI with an aim to introduce this beautiful country to the world. We allow people from around the world to sign up for CM2H membership for a broad range of services and consultancy including immigration, business, education, families, etc. At the same time, we will give back and contribute to society unparalleled through a Charity Association, the Khmer Home Charity Association (KHCA).
A word from the Operation Director Of Cambodia My Second Home
In the early 1990s, the Cambodian government sets up an immigration law hoping to attract foreign capital. The initial plan was very successful and boosted the local economy and development, greatly driving Cambodia’s GDP growth from 1994 to 2018 with remarkable results. However, the number of applicants at that time exceeded the government’sexpectations. In order to control the flow of people and maintain a healthy development of the domestic economy, the Cambodian government decided to suspend the immigration law in 2019 and stop issuing passports to overseas people.
After three years of detailed discussion and review, the Cambodian government believes that they are ready. As the first step of the new immigration law, the Ministry of Interior and the Khmer Home Charity Association decided to launch a key project exclusively called “Cambodia My Second Home” investment immigration program in 2022, to reopen Cambodia as another new option for migrants to choose. The entire plan focuses on several areas, including eliminating unauthorized intermediary companies, reviving economic development, and encouraging foreign investment in Cambodia.
On June 16, 2022, H.E. Nov Sokpheap, the chairman of the Khmer Home Charity Association, and H.E. Kirth Chantharith, director of the General Department of Immigration, officially handed over the official letter of the “Cambodia My Second Home” investment immigration plan at the General Department of Immigration (GDI). I am glad to announce that Cambodia is ready to enter to another golden age.

Referring to the aforementioned subject and reference, the Ministry of Interior would like to inform you that since the organization of Cambodia My Second Home Event is in line with the plan set out by the Ministry of Interior carrying out a study into this program with neighboring countries inside and outside the region and seeing that Cambodia My Second Home Event can help attract those who have great resources and properties to invest in buying residential and leisure houses in the Kingdom of Cambodia as well as support for the investment policy of the Royal Government in contribution to increasing the national economic development activities; therefore, the Ministry of Interior hereby extends its support in principle and encourages the association to organize this event successfully.

Cambodia is one of the only Asian countries that offer citizenship by investment program.
Successfully obtaining a Cambodian Passport offers visa-free access to ASEAN and 54 different countries, including Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
Once citizenship is granted, a foreigner will also be able to own land and property in their own name in Cambodia. You are also eligible to apply for government concessions and licenses that are only available to Cambodian nationals.
Process of CM2H Membership Apply
1. Fill up the registration form
2. Submit a copy of identity & background proof such as:

4. Origin country’s identity card
5. Origin country’s passport
6. 5 passport size photos
7. Submit the above for all family members (if any)
8. Verified by the Ministry of Interior on the eligibility of the registrant

3. Bank statement with a detailed transaction for 1 year
4. Income proof
5. Assets titles or certificates (if any)
6. Marriage certificate (if any)
7. Kids’ birth certificates (if any)
8. Medical Check-up report from the origin country’s hospital
1. Obtain approval from the Ministry of Interior
2. Submit Sales & Purchase Agreement of the recognized property project
1. Obtain KHCA and CM2H membership number
2. Receive accommodation advice (if needed)
3. Receive business registration advice (if needed)
4. Receive education advice (if needed)
5. Opening of local bank account in Cambodia & obtain documents
6. Obtain Business Registration with a patent in Cambodia
7. Obtain a visa for staying in Cambodia
8. Obtain the CM2H membership card
1. Accommodation arrangement (if needed) (Immediate upon arrival)
2. Obtain Cambodia Health Care Insurance Certificate (Immediate upon arrival)
3. Run business in Cambodia (Immediately upon arrival)
4. Obtain a working permit in Cambodia (30 days upon arrival)

The Cambodia My 2nd Home (CM2H) is a program promoted by the Cambodia Ministry of Interior to allow foreigners to stay in the Kingdom of Cambodia with a Golden Visa of 10 years. CM2H holders can apply for a Cambodia passport after 5 years. This is the only pathway for one to apply for a Cambodian passport. The CM2H program is open to all countries recognized by Cambodia with certain investment and financial requirements. Successful applicants do not have any entry or exit restrictions in Cambodia.
